![]() ![]() If you post a full guitar pic-one with a good view of the headstock, I might be able to find out more. Since they don't identify the year or country, that doesn't help a lot. I did quite a bit of searching, but the only Blade I saw with your instrument's "G" serial number prefix was that blue one that I linked from Reverb. The seller doesn't identify the year of country of origin, but wants the better part of $3k for the guitar-a guitar I strongly suspect in not Swiss-made. I suspect both OP's and the linked guitar are Korean-made (but maybe Japan-made): ![]() Most Blade guitars were made in either Japan or (more recently) Korea. And since the only country markings on these Blade guitars is an easily removal sticker, a lot of stickers got removed. You see that a lot with Blade guitars, I suspect because the sellers are hoping their potential buyers have heard that Blade is made in Switzerland, and the seller's don't want to dissuaded them from that thought. You'll notice that the seller doesn't state the year of manufacture, or country of manufacture. I suspect that your guitar is contemporary with the instrument linked below (wish I could see more of your guitar). The actual details of the instrument may be a better method. My understanding is that with Blade guitars, serial numbers may not be the best way to date an instruments, as their system isn't very standardized. ![]()
